New to me 89 phazer 480, running one cylinder

Just got a phazer deluxe. Running one cylinder till about 10-15mph then takes off. I have been going through the machine suspension and noticed some oil/gas drippage under the pan from the pto side on the garage floor after parked for a few days in garage. Spark on both good and good compression. It's hard to start if it sits for a few days. I have to pressurize the gas tank to get fuel back in the system for it to start. Any ideas? Crank seal, fuel line issue? Haven't got a chance to dig in yet...

The needle and seat might be stuck. What does the plug or piston wash look like in the cylinder that isn't running? Is it drowning in fuel?

It's strange that it would leak fuel, but also need pressure in the tank to start. Those two symptoms seem at odds. A fuel pump problem is another definite possibility (oxymoron?).

Check pulse line and fuel pump.

Also, does it have the water trap under the carb bowls?
if so, you should replace the line on those as it gets brittle with age and cracks and leaks.

I pulled the carbs off and cleaned them out (no water trap lines on this one). I will pull the pump today and take a look at condition on inside of that. Anyone know the fuel line sizes before and after pump for this sled? Might as well replace them all while I have it apart.

Should be all the same size from tank to carbs.
