The fucks goin' on here? Why can't I load the avatar I want?

I'm totally bewildered here, I uploaded the pic of the Hummer as an avatar no problem, which was NO different then the pics I took of the ummer and my truck the other day, same size, same camera, same files, everything. I want to put the picture of my truck in my avatar but it kept saying "File upload failed". So I tryed the picture of the Hummer and my truck and it said the same thing, yet all the sudden it's in my avatar that I can see. I also have the slowest dial up on this God damn earth so I can't even try and fix it to much. Please help, this is the picture I want in my avatar. Somehow my picture stablisation feature got turned off yesterday so all the pic's turned out crap but you can't tell in avatar size.

It always says failed for me , but actually works... Just make sure picture is the right size, upload when it says upload failed, refresh and picture should be updated.

Hmm I didn't know that, the last time I did anything with my avatar was close to a year ago. Thank you to whoever changed it for me.
