We just got back from our weekend of sledding last night. Overall not a bad trip, put about 200 miles on our sleds riding all day saturday & 3 hrs on sunday. On saturday we started at exit 251 just south of Grayling, hit trail 679 & rode north to Frederic. We ate at the Swamp Bar & ordered some lunch, they were very busy & it took us a while to get our food. Their burgers are excellent. Then back down trail 7 to 47 towards Lovells & Lewiston. From there went north to Gaylord, then headed back down 7 to Grayling. There was decent snow but the corners were icy, especially trail 47, it was the worst one. Gaylord had plenty of snow though, & good riding headed back to the trailer on saturday. There was quite a few sleds out on saturday. Sunday we hit the M-72 Grayling trailhead, we heard from some other riders it was good in that direction. It was snowing pretty good already that morning & while riding. Took trail 79 north & up toward Mancelona & turned around at Blue Bear Trail. There was a lot more snow on our sunday ride & it was bumpy from all the weekend riders but the corners werent bad like our saturday ride. Anything north & west of M-72 near Grayling should be excellent riding if you plan on heading up, I would still be careful in the corners because theyre very icy. Heres a few pics I took.

My sled got melted by the can I installed. It popped out of the exhaust exit on saturday. Not sure what kind it was but it didnt want to fit right.
Luckily I found someone to fix it on sunday, I called Sledheads in Frederic & he hooked me up with a guy that fixes sleds(real cheap too) just a few miles off M-72 not far from the Days Inn we were stayin at. He fabbed up a nice aluminum plate for it & riveted it in. Reinstalled the stock can & rode for a few hours.
