I wasn't aware there was a catalytic converter on them? Never heard of that before? What year did that start?

As soon as you start associating the word NEED with Harley's, you are forever doomed. Seriously, are you even sure it has the stock exhaust on it? Most people change them almost immediately.

I don't exactly know for sure. I'll be having a party on the 2nd, taking the boat out of the 3rd, Uncles party on the 4th, taking my cousin to the airport on the 5th, and leaving the 6th to head up north. There is talk of just going to Baldwin and camping for a couple days then coming home. We may not even get to the bridge. I'm wanting to do some riding around the Baldwin/Cadillac area this summer anyways as I'm still considering a cabin up there.

I picked up a commuter bike myself.

06 Suzuki Boulevard M50

805cc

Nothing special, but much better on fuel.

You guys and your fancy new bikes

I'm still unemployed, mostly because I am looking for work closer to home now. So no new bike for me, I dug the Yamaha out of the weeds instead. Took the cruiser fairing off and the rear rack off, looks a little better. Now to see if I can get it to come back to life.

With all the other projects I haven't had the money or time to fix it. At the very least, just to make it drivable it needs;

Brake work
Front and rear brake reservoirs
Both petcocks replaced
New rack of carbs, or at least one new one and some new fuel fittings
New seat or recover the old one
New battery
Probably needs new tires too, these are starting to rot
Thorough cleaning
New headlight and front turn signals(I don't want to put the fairing back on)

And those are the problems I know if, not sure what else might be wrong yet.

Nice!! I was looking at the denim black until they took me in the basement and showed me the orange one, that was the moment he had me sold lol. Congrats, now put some miles on it! I've got 1300 miles on mine, hopefully after mowing the lawn today I can grab a ride before it rains.

I just ordered my bags. I'm done for a while except for maybe a Mustang seat if I can find a good deal on a used one.

Now that is some funny shiat!! You'll be saying that for awhile lol. I know I've said it a couple times already, right before I find something else lol. I've dumped a ton of money in mine and I've only had it a month lol.
